Regional centers beg Congress to limit the increase in the minimum investment amount for EB-5 visas

USCIS regulations are slated to increase the minimum investment amount for EB-5 visas to USD 1.35 Million for TEAs and USD 1.8 Million for non-TEAs.

Regional Centers are begging lawmakers to limit the increase in minimum investment amount to only USD 800,000 for a TEA and USD 900,000 for other areas. More importantly, the USCIS is also planning to make dramatic changes to TEA designations that will seriously impact most regional centers.
